Each new sitter has their own set of details.
In these details you will see the Progress Records that the sitter uses to record their own progress through tick boxes and dates of those actions. They are arranged in three groups (the trainee sitter will see only one of these groups at a time and can record their actions as they move through the steps).
The final section is the main Sitter Onboarding Journey section and is the section that you will manage as a supervisor.
In here, there are a series of tick boxes for you as a supervisor to record progression. Certain combinations of ticks in these boxes will unlock progress and allow the sitter to move on through the process knowing that their actions so far have been verified.
The overall sequence of events from an initial application to full sitter is:
The sitter fills out an application and the supervisor gives them an initial interview. They are then given access to the SharePortal to view the initial documents following which they indicate if they wish to proceed. They are then interviewed by Eleanor. If they pass this they then move on with filling in their Profile details, working through the courses and ordering t-shirts before being given full sitter status. The only step that may remain incomplete at this stage is the full completion of the diploma which may be completed later so long as the cat and dog modules have been done and the quizzes passed to prove their understanding.
The sitter will see a series of progress awards in their onboarding view which are marked as completions of steps 1-5 below. Step 6 signifies the full onboarding process has ended and the sitter no longer sees onboarding related prompts.
There are also 5 main screens giving notes and instructions which are unlocked by specific ticks.
The conditions for each progress step to be completed and the conditions for each screen of instructions are as follows:
